Learn to sew or expand your sewing skills.

This week long, morning sewing camp will welcome new and experienced sewers. New sewers will learn to sew by hand and on a sewing machine. They will finish fun projects and be eager to learn more.

Experienced sewers will continue to learn about sewing and apply their creative skills to making clothes, bags, pillows, or other things that inspire them.

Our fabulous kid’s teacher, Mary, will help campers choose projects for their skill level. Register with a friend for extra fun. Register for multiple sessions to keep learning.

Camp fee includes a $50 gift card for purchasing supplies during camp. Campers will also need the following tools. These are available for purchase at Sew Inviting individually or as a Beginner’s Sewing Box.

Basic sewing tools:

• Working sewing machine including cord, foot pedal, bobbins, and machine needles (Call or text the store if you need to borrow one for class.)
• Sewing scissors
• Tape measure
• Seam ripper
• 6” Seam gauge
• Straight pins and pin cushion
• Hand sewing needles
• Neutral colored thread

Please bring a water bottle and snack each day.

Class space is reserved with full payment. 

Classes are held at Sew Inviting, 647 Snelling Avenue South, Saint Paul, MN 55116. Parking is available behind and on the north side of the building.

Cancellation policy: If your summer plans change, please call the store to cancel before June 1 for a refund minus a $25 fee. After May 31, refunds for store credit will be available only if the class slot is filled by another camper.

Sew Inviting requires three students to hold a class. If three students are not registered five days before the class begins, you will be contacted to arrange a refund or reschedule to another class.
