Pick a project or bring one in progress! This all-day class is ideal for anyone from advanced beginners to experienced sewists. Get hands-on help deciphering pattern directions, adjusting fit, learning new techniques, and making your new favorite garments.
We’ll split the day into two sessions with a 1-hour break for lunch.

Bring Fabric and pattern for your specific project as well as lunch or plans for lunch and basic sewing tools:

• Working sewing machine including cord, foot pedal, bobbins, and machine needles (Call or text the store if you need to borrow one for class.)
• Sewing scissors
• Tape measure
• Seam ripper
• 6” Seam gauge
• Straight pins and pin cushion
• Hand sewing needles
• Neutral colored thread

Class materials can be purchased at Sew Inviting. Students receive a 10% discount on day of class purchases.

Class space is reserved with full payment.

Cancellation policy: Any cancellation will be refunded for store credit minus a $25 processing fee. Within 72 hours of class starting there are no refunds.

Sew Inviting requires three students to hold a class. If three students are not registered five days before the class begins, you will be contacted to arrange a refund or reschedule to another class. 

Classes are held at Sew Inviting, 647 Snelling Avenue South, Saint Paul, MN 55116. Parking is available behind and on the north side of the building.
