You can wear these jammies in the afternoon or any other time, but they can be completed in one afternoon class. We will use the Walk The Plank PJ Bottoms pattern by Patterns for Pirates. Eliminating the side seam means you can make these pants quickly. Once you have made one pair jammies you can make them for anyone. Be creative with your fabric choices. This is an easy sewing project that you can keep or gift to someone else.

Students need a working sewing machine including cord, foot pedal, bobbins, and machine needles (Call or text the store if you need to borrow one for class) and the following sewing tools. All supplies and fabric are available for purchase at Sew Inviting. Students receive a 15% discount on class supplies.

• Sewing scissors
• Seam ripper
• Straight pins 
• Tape measure
• Erasable fabric pen or chalk marker

• 2 3/4 yard of flannel or woven cotton
• Either enough 3/4 inch elastic to go around your waist or 1/2 yard of 3/4 inch elastic and 1 1/2 yard of twill tape if you want ties
• Matching thread
• Printed Walk the Plank PJ Bottom pattern. (You can download and print this at home as long as you tape it together before class or you can have Sew Inviting print it for $10)

Class space is reserved with full payment. 

Classes are held at Sew Inviting, 647 Snelling Avenue South, Saint Paul, MN 55116. Parking is available behind and on the north side of the building.

Cancellation policy: If your plans change and you cannot attend class, please call the store to cancel one week before class starts. Within one week of class, registration will be refunded for store credit.

Sew Inviting requires four students to hold a class. If four students are not registered five days before the class begins, you will be contacted to arrange a refund or reschedule to another class.
