This class will expand your sewing skills and knowledge of your machine. Students will learn about the different sewing machine feet used to finish seams, hem clothes, put in a zipper, measure and sew buttonholes, and add pockets to garments. 

Basic sewing tools:
These are available for purchase at Sew Inviting individually or as a Beginner’s Sewing Kit.

• Working sewing machine including cord, extra presser feet, owner's manual, foot pedal,  and machine needles (Call or text the store if you need to borrow one for class.)
• Sewing scissors
• Tape measure
• Seam ripper
• 6” Seam gauge
• Straight pins and pin cushion
• Hand sewing needles
• Sewing thread and bobbins

Class space is reserved with full payment.

Classes are held at Sew Inviting, 647 Snelling Avenue South, Saint Paul, MN 55116. Parking is available on the street and in the parking lot around the building. There is a doorbell on the back door if the door is closed.

Cancellation policy: If your plans change and you cannot attend class, please call the store to cancel one week before class starts. Within one week of class, registration will be refunded for store credit minus a $25 processing fee.

Sew Inviting requires three students to hold a class. If three students are not registered five days before the class begins, you will be contacted to arrange a refund or reschedule to another class.
