This class will expand your sewing skills and knowledge of your machine. Students will learn about the different sewing machine feet used to finish seams, hem clothes, put in a zipper, measure and sew buttonholes, and add pockets to garments. 

Basic sewing tools:
These are available for purchase at Sew Inviting individually or as a Beginner’s Sewing Kit. Classs supplies are available at Sew Inviting for a 15% discount.

• Working sewing machine including cord, extra presser feet, owner's manual, foot pedal,  and machine needles (Call or text the store if you need to borrow one for class.)
• Sewing scissors
• Tape measure
• Seam ripper
• 6” Seam gauge
• Straight pins and pin cushion
• Hand sewing needles
• Sewing thread and bobbins

Students receive a 10% discount on day of class purchases.

Class space is reserved with full payment. This is a two week class. There are no make up classes.

Cancellation policy: Any cancellations will be refunded for store credit minus a $25 processing fee. Within 72 hours of class starting there are no refunds.

Sew Inviting requires three students to hold a class. If three students are not registered five days before the class begins, you will be contacted to arrange a refund or reschedule to another class. 

Classes are held at Sew Inviting, 647 Snelling Avenue South, Saint Paul, MN 55116. Parking is available behind and on the north side of the building.
