Take time during a busy month to relax and learn how to embroider and sew felt ornaments. These ornaments are beautiful, fun to stitch, and make wonderful holiday decor or gifts! They're made with wool felt and a few simple hand embroidery stitches you'll learn in class. Add beads, trims, or tassels if you like for even more detail. 

To celebrate the season, there will be holiday cookies,  hot chocolate, and hot apple cider! Register with a friend to make the evening more fun!

Some hand sewing or embroidery experience is helpful, but adventurous beginners are welcome too!

Students need the following sewing tools. All supplies and fabric are available for purchase at Sew Inviting unless otherwise noted. Students receive a 15% discount on class supplies.

• Sewing scissors
• Straight pins
• Tape measure
• Erasable fabric pen or chalk marker
• Hand sewing embroidery needles
• Optional: needle threader

• Wool felt
• Embroidery floss
• Optional: extra trims or beads - try Michael's crafts or Artscraps art supply for these!  

 Class space is reserved with full payment.

Cancellation policy: If your plans change and you cannot attend class, please call the store to cancel at least one week before class starts. Within one week of class, registration will be refunded for store credit, minus a $25 processing fee. Within 24 hours of class there are no refunds.   

Classes are held at Sew Inviting, 647 Snelling Avenue South, Saint Paul, MN 55116. Parking is available behind and on the north side of the building or on the street.

Sew Inviting requires three students to hold a class. If three students are not registered five days before the class begins, you will be contacted to arrange a refund or reschedule to another class.
