Crescent Tote

The Crescent Tote is the perfect size tote for summer. It will hold all your essentials and a water bottle and the zippered pockets will keep your special things secure. It has a flat bottom which makes it easy to set on a table. You can personalize it with a great canvas fabric and coordinating or contrasting lining.
The class fee includes the paper pattern. You will also need:
- 5/8 yard Exterior Fabric - Canvas or Denim are great options
- 3/4 yard Lining Fabric (includes interior pocket) - Quilting cotton or similar
- 1 yard Fusible Woven Interfacing 20”-wide
- ½ yard [.46 m] Fusible Fleece Interfacing
- One 6 inch and one 8 inch zipper - you can use 14 inch zippers available in the store and cut to size. Consider contrasting or coodinating colors
- 1 1/4 yard cotton webbing for handles
- Working sewing machine including cord, foot pedal, bobbins, and machine needles (Call or text the store if you need to borrow one for class.)
- Sewing scissors
- Tape measure
- Seam ripper
- 6” Seam gauge
- Straight pins and pin cushion
- Hand sewing needles
Class materials can be purchased at Sew Inviting. Students receive a 15% discount.
Class space is reserved with full payment.
Cancellation policy: If your plans change and you cannot attend class, please call the store to cancel at least one week before class starts. Within one week of class, registration will be refunded for store credit, minus a $25 processing fee. There are no refunds once the class starts.
Classes are held at Sew Inviting, 647 Snelling Avenue South, Saint Paul, MN 55116. Parking is available behind and on the north side of the building or on the street.
Sew Inviting requires three students to hold a class. If three students are not registered five days before the class begins, you will be contacted to arrange a refund or reschedule to another class.

Skill Details: | Students need a working knowledge of their sewing machine and should be able to sew straight seams on woven fabrics and know how to follow a pattern. |
