Serging Basics
Do you have a serger you don’t know how to use? Are you a little confused about threading? Take the fear out of serging and get comfortable with what could become your favorite sewing tool. Start as a beginner or take the class to brush up or refresh your skills.
For this class you will need, your Serger and all accessories including serger manual (download online if you don’t have one).
Supplies needed for this class:
- Four different colors of serger thread. (It is helpful if the threads matches the four colors on serger tension dials).
- Scissors
- Pins
- Seam Ripper
- Tweezers - preferably tweezers with long angled prongs
Class space is reserved with full payment.
Cancellation policy: Any cancellations will be refunded for store credit minus a $25 processing fee. Within 72 hours of class starting there are no refunds.
Sew Inviting requires three students to hold a class. If three students are not registered three days before the class begins, you will be contacted to arrange a refund or reschedule to another class.
Classes are held at Sew Inviting, 647 Snelling Avenue South, Saint Paul, MN 55116. Parking is available behind and on the north side of the building.
