This class is designed to expand your knowledge of your serger and the many ways it can be used.

There are four options for further serger knowledge:
1. Bring your project or questions and we’ll help you get the answers.
2. Serge a pre-cut child size tee (provided) or bring your own adult tee pattern (we recommend Love Notions Barrington Boxy Tee or Classic Tee-) with fabric cut out and learn the most used serger techniques.
3. Try out the rolled hem and flatlock stitches. We will have fabrics for you to use.
4. If you have a coverstitch machine or combination serger, this is a great class to learn the techniques.

Remember that this is a class that can be repeated as often as you want to improve your skills and learn new techniques. 

For this class you will need, your Serger or Coverstitch machine and all accessories including the manual. (Download online if you don’t have one.) 

Additional supplies needed:

• Four different colors of serger thread. (It is helpful if the threads matches the four colors on serger tension dials). 
• Scissors
• Pins
• Seam Ripper
• Tweezers - preferably tweezers with long angled prongs

Class space is reserved with full payment. 

Cancellation policy: Any cancellations will be refunded for store credit minus a $25 processing fee. Within 72 hours of class starting there are no refunds.

Sew Inviting requires three students to hold a class. If three students are not registered five days before the class begins, you will be contacted to arrange a refund or reschedule to another class. 

Classes are held at Sew Inviting, 647 Snelling Avenue South, Saint Paul, MN 55116. Parking is available behind and on the north side of the building.
