New Cottons Arrived!

FedEx was busy delivering boxes of fabric from In the Beginning and Phoebe Fabrics. The blueberries remind me the book Blueberries for Sal - one of my childhood favorites. All of these fabrics have a great feel, perfect for quilting, crafts, and garment sewing. I'm still decideing what to make.

What are we showing off?

At the July Firday Sewing Circle, we worked on new projects, laughed, told stories, offered advice, and showed off completed projects. Anne Marie made the Melody Dolman by Love Notions Patterns out of a cotton lawn from Sew Inviting. Katie made the Camile Knit Dress by Style Arc using a fabulous geometric print from her personal supply!

Welcome to the Machine, August 6 or September 11, will teach you how to use a machine and how to complete an easy machine sewing project. 

Sew to Wear - Beginning Garment Sewing is a five week class that will teach you how to use a machine, pick a pattern and fabric, and make a simple garment.
