Exciting Fall classes

I am so excited for fall classes and that Elizabett Merritt will be joining our team to teach:

• Sewing Workshop, with five evenings or one day weekend versions, provides expert guidance for whatever you choose to sew.
• Easy Tee is a great introduction to using your sewing machine to work with knit fabrics.
• Mending Clinic is a chance to reduce clothing consumption and waste by mending what you have. Socks, sweaters, and jeans are a few options.

For beginner sewers, Laura will offer five week Sew to Wear: Beginning Garment Sewng and three hour Welcome to Machine classes. 

Mary will continue encouraging our younger sewers with after school classes September through November or December for kids nine or older and Teen Time sewing one Sunday afternoon a month.  

Home Decor Fabric

Sometimes you want, or need, to sew for your home. Whether you are covering chairs, sewing drapes, making bench cushions, or upholstering furniture, Sew Inviting can special order Home Decor fabrics from Charlotte Fabrics. We have sample books in the store, or you can puruse fabrics on their website and order samples. Contact the store about pricing and ordering process. HINT: look at the closeout section for great deals, most less than $20 a yard.
