Twin Cities Frocktails

Twin Cities Frocktails is an annual event that celebrates and connects the local sewing community through a fabulous night out together. The event is aimed at connecting sewists to each other. Along with other great sewing shops, Sew Inviting is sponsoring Frocktails on October 5 and the Fulton Taproom. Register and learn more at their website. 

I finsished the project!

I finished the Deba Topper by Itch to Stitch. I cut this free pattern out of a beautiful Nani Iro double gauze. I think I would make it a size smaller if I made it again, but I like how the lapels fall open. This will be a fun wear this early fall.

Are you sewing with PDF patterns?

There is such a great array of patterns available as PDFs. You always have the option of taping them together to make a full size pattern, but do you really want to do that? Sew Inviting staff will print PDF pattern pages for $5.00 a page! Send us the pattern at patterns@sewinvitingmn.com and we will respond when they are ready for pick up.
