Sharing your time and talent to brighten someone's day

Join us Tuesday, December 3, to make pillow cases for the Groveland Food Shelf in Minneapolis. Sew Inviting and Sew Good Goods invite you to reserve a spot in one of the free two-hour sessions. 

Sew Good Goods will supply the fabric for this sewing event. Bring your machine, or borrow one of ours, and neutral colored thread!

New knit wools

I was so excited when these knits arrived last week as I have been looking for knit wool fabrics to make a simple tee shirt dress that will be my go to "little black dress" for work and play. Black, grey, and pebble with a little bit of sparkle. These knits are perfect for an underlayer, a dress, leggings, long sleeve tee - what ever you can imagine. I promise the fabric looks and feels better than the picture. 

For fun and inspiration

Last week, these students enjoyed the shopping bag class. They all picked different fabrics and had a great time laughing and sewing. Each left with a finished product and fabric to make more.

• Kids winter break Pajama Making on 1/2 and 1/3. 
• All day Sewing Workshop on 12/13 or 12/28
• Five session evening Sewing Workshop starting 12/3
• Welcome to the Machine 12/15
