Sip and Stitch - April 14

Introducing Sip and Stitch. Join Elizabeth at the Wandering Leaf Brewery for an introductory embroidery class. You will learn basic embroidery stitches and complete a small, spring themed wall hanging. Register and show up. We will provide a beginner embroidery kit and instruction. 

Upcoming Classes

Make a circle skirt, perfect for spring, on Pi Day March 14. This three hour class shows how versatile a circle skirt can be. 

Expand your skills for seam finishes, hems, zippers, and buttonholes in Beyond the Basics 3/13 and 3/20. This is perfect if you have taken Sew to Wear: Beginning Garment Sewing or want to refresh your skills. 

Improve the likelihood that your sewn clothes will fit by taking Fitting Basics on 3/18 and 3/25. 

New Fabrics

Tomorrow we expect a shipment of linen to join the luscious, deep, royal linen that came in last week. We should also receivea shipment of new patterns that work well with linen. Watch for pictures here and on social media. (FB and Instagram sewinvitingmn)

Street parking is available in front of Sew Inviting at 647 Snelling Avenue South and in the parking lot around the building. Use the doorbell on the back door if it is not open.
