New Spring Fabrics

An array of new fabrics arrived last week. I have not had the chance to photograph them all separately, but the racks are beautiful. Linen and linen blends as well as shot cotton and Kaffe Fassett lawns - All waiting for you to make something fun! 

Embrace New Skills

This Friday is the circle skirt class! Join Elizabeth on Pi Day to make a fun spring skirt. 

There is still room in the two week Beyond the Basics class starting this Thursday 3/13. 

Register for Fitting Basics starting Tuesday 3/18 to learn how to fit patterns to you.

Five week Sew to Wear: Beginning Garment Sewing classes start 3/23 or 4/6.

Don't forget Sip and Stitch an introductory embroidery class at Wandering Leaf Brewery on 4/14.

Fun spring project

This weekend I made the Noodlehead Crescent Tote. The pattern has excellent directions and would have gone together quicker had I not insisted on matching the design perfectly. I will brag and say the matching and the bag turned out well. Should I schedule this as a class?

Thank you for being part of the Sew Inviting community and supporting a local business. For many people who enjoy sewing and crafting, the news of JoAnn Fabrics closing has led to questions about future fabric purchases. As a small store, we do not have the space or capacity to carry all the stock JoAnn's did, but we want to make sure that we're stocking the fabrics and notions you need to complete the projects you are dreaming about!

Street parking is available in front of Sew Inviting at 647 Snelling Avenue South and in the parking lot around the building. Use the doorbell on the back door if it is not open.
