Sew Inviting is looking to grow our team!

If you are passionate about sewing and fabrics, are an enthusiastic self-starter, and are looking for a part-time job in a growing business with wonderful coworkers, Sew Inviting is the place for you.

We offer the opportunity to work with fabulous fabrics and fun supplies, a staff discount on fabrics, and a flexible schedule.

Responsibilities include engaging customers to help them choose the best fabric, notions, and classes for their skills and desired projects; cleaning and merchandising the store to make it welcoming to customers; and making store models to inspire customers.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced sewist; be able to work 6-10 hours in two weekly shifts including a week and a weekend day; be tech savvy enough to use the POS system and google sheets and docs; and be comfortable working in the store alone. Experience in social media and website management is a plus.

For inspiration

This youngster visited the store on Saturday with her mom and sister. They carefully chose the best fabrics to make a quilt to welcome a new family member. On Sunday she stopped in to show us the finished quilt top. Such focus and great work! We are so happy to encourage her creativity and hope to see more of her as she continues to sew. 

Street parking is available in front of Sew Inviting at 647 Snelling Avenue South and in the parking lot around the building. Use the doorbell on the back door if it is not open.
