Celebrate the start of Summer

Do you plan to sew over the three-day weekend? Do you have all your fabrics and supplies? Stop by Friday or Saturday to get what you need because we will be are taking two days off on  Sunday and Monday. See you soon, Laura and staff

The first purchases from the trade show arrived! I may have gone overboard but I couldn't decide what colors not to buy. Therefore, we have webbing in eight different colors. The white edging on these webbings give a pop of detail to bag handles and belts. 

FEATURED CLASS

Do you need help with a project? Do you need a day designated for sewing? join the Sewing Weekend Workshop TOMORROW from 10-6. 

If you can't join for the entire day, consider the Sewing SOS class TOMORROW morning from 10-1 or afternoon from 3-6. Get the same sewing help and time to sew, but in a smaller dose. 

UPCOMING CLASSES

The Quilt Building Blocks highlights Half Square Triangles, one of the important components of quilting. This class is for students who have taken Quilting for Beginners or know the basics of quilting and want to learn more about constructing and using Half Square Triangles. Class is three Saturdays starting May 31 from 10:30-1:30.

The Quilted Coat Class is your chance to transform an existing quilt, into a fun, cozy, stylish coat using the Elemental Coat pattern. Class is four Wednesday evenings from 6-9 starting June 4. 

In the Mending Clinic you will learn techniques to stop textile waste and save your favorite garments. Saturday, May 31 from 3-5. 

We have two weeks of summer camps for teens. Register your teen for a week of creativity. Weeks of June 23 or July 21.

Street parking is available in front of Sew Inviting at 647 Snelling Avenue South and in the parking lot around the building. Use the doorbell on the back door if it is not open.
