Summer is starting with rain

I love a rainy summer day. The universe is giving me a sign that it is okay to stay inside and sew! I finished a graduation dress for my daughter last night and hopefully today I will make progress on the summer dress for me. What are you sewing on this rainy day? FEATURED CLASSES

Introducing the Quilting Bee. If you have beginning quilting skills and want to expand your quilting knowledge with guidance from Ellen, this is the class for you. It is also a time to sew with other quilters. 

The Sewing Weekend Workshop date for June has changed to Saturday, June 21. Bring your projects and enthusiasm and get help and direction and sew with others.

UPCOMING CLASSES

There is something for everyone in our June schedule:

• Easy Tee - Learn to work with knits on your home machine and make a Tee shirt that fits you!
• Fitting Basics - Fitting is so important. Take this class to learn more about making clothes fior the body you have!
• Friday Sewing Circle - Be social and sew. What more can you ask for?

June is the start of Summer Camp season. We are excited to encourage all the young sewists. There are still openings in the summer camps, especially for teens the weeks of June 23 or July 21. 

A new session of Sew to Wear: Beginning Garment Sewing starts Wednesday July 9.

Hours: Tuesday - Friday 12-6; Saturday 10-4; Sunday 12-4

Street parking is available in front of Sew Inviting at 647 Snelling Avenue South and in the parking lot around the building. Use the doorbell on the back door if it is not open.
