The halfway mark

Welcome to July. How did it get to be halfway through 2025? With the Semi Annual Clearance Sale and Summer Camps we have been super busy in the store. We enjoy visiting with you all and we thank you for helping make Sew Inviting a success. We are closing on Friday to celebrate July 4th, we will reopen on Saturday at 10:00. It has been so much fun to see customers taking advantage of the Semi Annual Clearance Sale. Great fabric is looking to move to its forever home! What fabric deals will entice you into summer sewing? What fabric deals will entice you into a winter project such as a wool coat?

FEATURED CLASSES - Let's talk about quilting

Are you interested in learning how to quilt or expanding your quilting skills? Consider one of these classes.

• The Quilting for Beginners two week class will introduce you to planning, cutting, sewing, sandwiching, quilting, and binding a small quilt.
• Quilting Bee is a monthly opportunity to work on whatever quilting project you want. Each month, Ellen will introduce a quilting topic and the rest of the time is for you to get support on your projects.
• In Free Motion Quilting you will quilt beautiful free-motion designs with your home machine!

• Hand Embroidery Learn the basics of hand stitching TONIGHT, July 1 6-9. No experience needed.
• Friday Sewing Social is July 18. Don't wait too long to register!

FOR INSPIRATION

Did you know we sell sewing machines? The Juki HZL-HT740 is one of the machines we use in the classroom. It is a computerized machine that has bells and whistles to make sewing easier and more fun. If you are in the market for a machine, stop in to learn about the machine and give it a test try. All machines come with a free Welcome to the Machine class! 

Hours: Tuesday - Friday 12-6 (Closed Friday, July 4); Saturday 10-4; Sunday 12-4

Street parking is available in front of Sew Inviting at 647 Snelling Avenue South and in the parking lot around the building. Use the doorbell on the back door if it is not open.
