I have so much to learn about running a business. I had thought in a post-pandemic world shipping delays would be a thing of the past. I was wrong. This week, we received fabric we expected in April. Balancing inventory is going to be an ongoing learning curve in this crazy world we live in. Thank you for all your support as I learn and work to get the best fabrics in the store for you to enjoy! ~Laura and staff
FEATURED FABRICS
The fabrics that arrived are beautiful. Phoebe Cottons have wonderful colors and patterns. They are perfect for summer sewing. They also feel great and work well for garments and quilts. The two patterns on the left are organic.

FOR INSPIRATION
I made the Fira shirt by Liesl & Co out of a clearance printed seersucker. I previously made the dress version out of lightweight cotton and it is one of my go-to summer dresses. Making it out of the seersucker was a good reminder of how different fabrics drape. As soon as I finish the hand stitching I will show off the version I am making from rayon.

Hours: Tuesday - Friday 12-6; Saturday 10-4; Sunday 12-4
