August is a wonderful month. There is still plenty of time to enjoy the summer, and it blends with the anticipation of the State Fair and then school. Take time to enjoy August with a new felt craft kit.  ~Laura and staff

Customers loved the first batch of Corine Lapierre felt craft kits, so we restocked with new designs. The Lavender Houses, Llamas, and Mice kits are a few of the fun kits that arrived. Stop in the store to pick your favorite as we have no doubts these will fly off the shelves.  

SUMMER SOCIAL TEA

Don't forget to register for the Summer Social Tea on Saturday, August 16 from 2-4. This is a FREE social event to show off your favorite summer makes and mingle with other creative people!

IMMEDIATE CLASS OPENINGS

Tonight, from 6-9 join the Sewing Studio class. Bring your sewing projects and questions and Laura will help you figure out next steps. This is a great opportunity for students who are finishing a class project or getting started on a new one. 

This Saturday, 9/9 from 12-2 there is one spot left for Serging Basics. On Wednesday, 9/13 from 2-4 there is room in Serging Studio. Take advantage of these opportunities to learn how to thread and use your serger. 

FOR INSPIRATION 

To welcome the next child expected in my family, I made the Nora Dress by Oh Me Oh My patterns. This floral print was chosen to reflect the mom's love of plants and gardens. This has become a tried and true kids pattern for me as it is so easy to make and lends itself to so many cotton prints, not to mention opportunities to use vintage rick rack! 

Hours: Tuesday - Friday 12-6; Saturday 10-4; Sunday 12-4

Street parking is available in front of Sew Inviting at 647 Snelling Avenue South and in the parking lot around the building. Use the doorbell on the back door if it is not open.
