The weather may not be cooperating, but it is time to sew cozy items for the expected fall weather. What is your favorite cozy garment to make? ~Laura and Staff  

FEATURED FABRICS

Nothing says fall like plaid flannel! Mammoth Flannels from Robert Kaufman are here and they are great for garment sewing. The Gallery Tunic by Liesl & Co or the Harrison Shirt by Cashmerette are great choices. If you are thinking about new pajama pants, ask us about patterns we can print for you. 

PRIZE WINNER

Winners of the 1st Anniversary prizes have been notified and Ruth dropped by to pick up her prize. She won six months of attendance at either Sew Queer or Friday Sewing Social - our two regularly scheduled social sewing evenings. It is always fun to have new faces at these sewing nights. If you want a fun group of people to sew with, there are spots in tonight's Friday Sewing Social. 

FEATURED CLASSES

Are you interested in sewing garments but don't knwo where to start? Take Sew to Wear: Beginning Garment Sewing. This class will introduce you to your sewing machine and all the steps of choosing a pattern and fabric, cutting out the pieces, and constructing the garment. You will leave this class with the knowledge and confidence to keep sewing. Register for classes starting soon.

Street parking is available in front of Sew Inviting at 647 Snelling Avenue South and in the parking lot around the building. Use the doorbell on the back door if it is not open.
