Tomorrow is our Giving Wednesday day of sewing! Sew with others and share your skills as we make Zippered Pouches for Groveland Food Shelf. There are slots available in each of the three sessions. ~Laura and Staff

FEATURED FABRICS 

Last week was a busy week for deliveries including these Italian cotton silk lawns. They feel luscious, hang beautifully, and are perfect for shirts, dresses, and even linings.

FEATURED SEWING CLASSES

Sewing Studio is a three hours of sewing time to get help on your projects. There are three scheduled for December - including tomorrow night and Thursday afternoon. 

Sewing Weekend Workshop is Friday 12/19 from 9:30-4:30. Register for a day of making progress on the projects you haven't had a chance to finish!

Sew Queer is this Friday night from 5-9. Join our monthly sewing evening for trans, queer, and gender non-conforming folx. LGBTQ+ allies welcome!

FEATURED KIDS' EVENT

Do you need to plan a night for you? Take a well-deserved night for holiday prep—or simply to relax while your child enjoys an evening filled with crafts, pizza, and a cozy movie. On Monday 12/22, drop your child(ren) aged seven or older off at Sew Inviting for a craft and movie night. No sewing experience needed. 

FOR INSPIRATION 

I finished my husband's Christmas gift - from last year! Sound familiar.  The Jensen Shirt from Wardrobe by Me is my standard shirt patten for my husband. This year's version will most likely be in one of the lovely Fableism fabrics.

Street parking is available in front of Sew Inviting at 647 Snelling Avenue South and in the parking lot around the building. Use the doorbell on the back door if it is not open.
