NEW FABRICS

Someone once told me I should only buy fabrics for the store that I love or make me giggle. This set of Riley Blake cottons meet both criteria. I hope these delightful prints will make you happy whether you are dreaming of a safari or making a something for a young person!

FROCKTAILS INSPIRATION 

You can decide whether this is inspiration or confirmation that sewing sometimes gets pushed to the last minute! Before I left town for a long weekend away, I sewed my Frocktails bodice together - including the sleeves. I pinned on the facings to have a sense of the finished product. Now it is waiting for my return home sew it all together, get the buttons on, hem it, and make a belt. I know it will be done on time, but probably not with time to spare. Are any of you in the same situation?

Street parking is available in front of Sew Inviting at 647 Snelling Avenue South and in the parking lot around the building. Use the doorbell on the back door if it is not open.
