The past few days have been packed with visiting vendors, finding new products, and catching up with friends at the annual H&H trade show. I have ordered new fabrics and I am excited to see them start arriving in the store. ~Laura and Staff 

 

SEW FOR GOOD

Thank you to everyone who tried to register to make laundry bags! Apologies that technical issues have made it difficult. While we continue to problem solve, send us an email or call/text the store at 651-695-9975 to give us your name, preferred time slot, and whether you need to borrow a sewing machine. 

Share your talents and sewing love by making laundry bags for the People's Laundry MPLS. This volunteer run, direct mutual aid group provides laundry assistance to neighbors in need. The laundry bags you make will be used by volunteers who pick up and wash laundry for individuals without permanent shelter. Register for one of three time slots on May 20 - 11 am, 1pm, or 3pm.

TOMMORROW, take three hours to learn how to use a sewing machine and complete an easy machine sewing project.

Sewing Studio
Register for TOMORROW's Sewing Studio for a supportive, hands-on class designed to help you move forward with confidence on any type of sewing project. 

Mending Clinic
Next Tuesday, 5/12, learn to mend holes, rips, and tears in almost any garment. Reduce clothing consumption and waste while you use decorative stitching and add new fabrics to create artful pieces that are truly one of a kind.

SUSTAINABLE STITCH SALE

Are you planning to sell fabrics at the Sustainable Stitch Sale? If you have your seller number, you can start dropping off your priced fabrics as soon as you are ready. All fabrics need to be in the store by May 21. If you still need details about selling fabric and a seller number, send us an email at questions@sewinvitingmn.com.
