If your kids need more to do this summer, register them for Summer Sewing Camps!

We have options for all ages! 

MORNING CAMPS (Ages 9+)
Perfect for brand-new or returning campers ready to jump into sewing fun! There are spots in the  five-day camps. Register with a friend for more fun (and to split the driving!)

AFTERNOON GARMENT CAMPS (Ages 11+, Experienced Sewers)
For kids who know how to use a sewing machine and want to make clothes they can wear. 

• Design and sew skirt
• Make and upcycled dress
• Make Breezy summer overalls

NEW THIS YEAR: MONDAY NIGHT TEEN CAMP (Ages 12+)
We know teens haven't thought much about summer yet! That's okay because there is still room in our Monday night classes. Sign up for one night or several. Teens can learn to sew or dive into more advanced projects at their pace.

AFTERNOON EMBROIDERY CAMPS (Ages 5-8)
There was so much interest in the afternoon embroidery class for our youngest campers, that we added another week!

FEATURED PRODUCTS 

Just in time for camp! A delightful set of organic cotton fabrics from Cloud 9. The rainbows and butterflies are reminiscent of my youth, but very relevant to today's campers. The bookworms made me smile because they are all wearing glasses! I can hardly wait to see how our campers, and customers, will use these super fun, soft fabrics.

WELCOME Charissa, our newest staff at Sew Inviting! As our Summer Camp Assistant, Charissa has been busy getting the classroom ready and making samples for our campers. The pink wrap top is one of the many projects our campers can choose from. Other options include pajamas, bags, pillowcases, and more. If you were coming to camp, what would you want to make?

FEATURED CLASSES

WELCOME TO THE MACHINE - Saturday 6/13
Spend three hours this Saturday morning solving the mystery of how to use a sewing machine. If your machine is still in a box, hasn't been used for years, or you are exploring a new hobby and want to borrow one of our machines - this is the class for you. You will use your new skills to make a small zippered pouch.

FRIDAY SEWING SOCIAL - Friday 6/19
Relax at the end of the work week with social time to work on your sewing projects, visit with other creative people, and generally have a good time. 

SEWING WEEKEND WORKSHOP - Saturday 6/20
Imagine a whole day dedicated to sewing—no interruptions, just creativity and progress. Dive deep into your projects, with support nearby. It’s a productive and satisfying day of fun. There is only one spot left. 

QUILTING FOR BEGINNERS - Saturday 6/27
Have you always wanted to learn to quilt? Grab the last spot in this six-hour class. You will learn the basics of choosing fabrics, cutting, piecing, and putting a small quilt together. With these skills you can tackle any quilting project!

Street parking is available in front of Sew Inviting at 647 Snelling Avenue South and in the parking lot around the building. Use the doorbell on the back door if it is not open.
